Mr. Venkatamurugan N S is a Chemical Engineer from the NIT Trichy 1990 batch, with additional Post Graduate qualifications in Environment, Industrial Safety, Cost Accounting, Law, Materials, HR, and Financial Management. After spending 8 years in Ammonia manufacturing at Madras Fertilizers, he has been associated with Saint Gobain for the past 25 years. Over the course of his career, he has taken on various roles in Production, Operational Excellence, Line and Plant Management in India, China, and South Africa.
Currently, Mr. Venkatamurugan N S is leading the operations of the World Glass Complex in Sriperumbudur and is responsible for Technical oversight across all locations in Sriperumbudur, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. He is actively involved in sustainability initiatives within the Glass operations, encompassing all three scopes. His primary focus lies on new furnace design and technology, the utilization of Alternate Fuel and Raw Materials, and the integration of renewable energy sources.
