Mr. Ponnuswami hails from an agricultural family based out of a remote village in the Namakkal District of Tamil Nadu. In 1981, he started the proprietary Concern “Pure Chemicals Co” with only two Employees. The concern has since then built the reputation of being one of the most preferred chemicals suppliers both in domestic and international markets.
Mr. Ponnuswami is the Co-Chairman of CII MSME National Council, Chairman of the Committee on MSME & Ease of Doing Business – CII Southern Region, and Past Chairman - of CII, Tamil Nadu.
