Mr. M.V.Subramanian, aka MVS Mani, is a serial entrepreneur and now a general partner in July Ventures an AIF, he was the Founder and Managing Director of Future Focus Infotech (FFI), a leading IT Consulting and staffing enterprise, with operations in India, Middle East & US. As a Lead Investor on Indian Angel Network (IAN) for more than 10 years now, MVS has had successful exits on its investments over the years. His investment interest spans domains with some of his invested startups on their way to being Unicorns in their segment. He is also called upon to mentor many startups.
As a well-respected investor and Director in NativeLead, MVS has been working to promote entrepreneurship in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. He is a Charter member of TiE Chennai and has held positions earlier in both the NASSCOM National SME Council as well as the Regional Council.
He is Chair of the Technology Committee at the South India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI), a 100+ year-old Industry body. He chaired the Organizing Committee on inviting investments into Tamil Nadu from the Tamil diaspora as part of the “Yaadhum Oorae” event and anchored the MSME policy discussion recently held under the auspices of SICCI.
He received the CII “Mentor of the Year – 2020” award from the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
