Mr. John Kottayil is the Bavarian State Representative in India since 2001. State of Bavaria India Office, Invest in Bavaria was established in Bangalore in 2001. Mr. Kottayil has been instrumental in promoting bilateral trade- and political relations between Bavaria and India over two decades now. The cultural, social and economic ties between the two regions have grown immensely since the inception of this Office.
As a part of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy, State of Bavaria Office has supported over 120 Indian companies entering the European market, while facilitating successful establishments in Bavaria, Germany, and assisting numerous Bavarian companies in entering the Indian market.
Mr. Kottayil holds a Masters Degree from the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich in Modern German Literature, Transnationale Germanistik & Psychology.
