Ms. Lise TALBOT BARRÉ is the Consul General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai. Throughout her career spanning over 20 years, she has served in a number of high level positions including as Third Secretary, Political Chancellery in the Embassy of France in Ottawa, Deputy Head of Mission in the Embassy of France in Minsk and Head of Operators Cluster at the General Department for Cooperation and Development Policies in Paris. She recently served as Special Advisor to the Director of Asia and Oceanic in Paris. She is also the Founder and Vice-President of Handi’plomatie, the association of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs dedicated to disability.
She has a Diploma from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. She also holds a BA (Hons) in Applied languages (English, Russian and German) from the University of Portsmouth in UK.
