Sudarsan currently heads the Chennai site for MaxLinear and is also the global head for WiFi at MaxLinear. Sudarsan started his career at Prairiecomm, a wireless startup in Chicago. He then had a long stint at Cisco in the bay area. Upon his return to India in 2011, he joined Qualcomm in Chennai leading several of their WiFi Chip solutions. In 2015, Sudarsan, along with Senthil Kumar Balasubramanian, co-founded Qubercomm, a WiFi startup in Chennai. As CEO, he led Qubercomm to its successful acquisition by MaxLinear in 2021.
Sudarsan holds a Masters Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and an MBA from San Jose State University. Sudarsan lives in Adyar along with his mother, wife and two daughters. Sudarsan's passions include technology, mentoring and reading.
