Ms. J Innocent Divya is a 2009 batch IAS officer who is currently heading the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation. She has 20+ years of experience in administration in Government, holding different portfolios such as Revenue Divisional Officer, District Revenue Officer, Special Officer (Chief Minister’s Special Cell), and District Collector. She always believes in the guiding principle, “Be the change you want to see.” Her focus areas include public grievance redressal, maternal and child health, environmental protection, and youth skilling to name a few. She is a recipient of the National Award for Leadership & Convergence under the Poshan Abhiyan programme for the year 2018-19, the State Green Award 2019 for the eradication of plastics and environment protection in the Nilgiris district, the State Award for the Best District Collector for outstanding service to Differently Abled persons for the year 2020, among other accolades. She is very passionate about service to the underprivileged and disadvantaged in society.
