Kirti Seth

CEO, IT-ITeS Sector - Skill Council, NASSCOM

Ms. Kirti is the CEO of IT-ITES Sector Skill Council, NASSCOM and also leads the FutureSkills initiative at NASSCOM, the industry association for the Indian IT industry. FutureSkills is a unique partnership, for skill development, between government and industry. Started with the vision to make India the global hub for talent in the emerging technologies, FutureSkills was a platform for the Indian IT industry, created by the Indian IT industry. Seeing its success in bringing competitors to collaborate and offer highly industry relevant learning content to the employees of the industry, the government of India, invited NASSCOM, to open up this platform to all Indian citizens and so was born FutureSkills Prime. She is extremely proud to be architecting the shape of this initiative and being tasked with making it successful for the country.

A business leader with 30 years of experience, in her last avatar in the corporate world, she was the CEO of the joint venture between Genpact and NIIT called NIIT Uniqua, a training organisation focused on the IT-ITES sector. Over the years, her leadership experience has ranged from being a founder-entrepreneur of a 500-employee organisation, managing 2 turn-around stories and also as an advisor for learning and development to global organisations, in NIIT’s Global Consulting and Advisory practice, like Shell, Rio Tinto, Bank of America and Quintiles.

Ms. Kirti completed her BA in Economics from Delhi University and her MBA from the IIM, Calcutta, India’s premier management institute. Along the way she became a certified Executive Coach and a Certified Practitioner of Learning and Performance from ATD. She was certified as a Scrum Master more than 10 years ago and has been converted to the tribe of Agile, ever since.
