Mr. Kamal Bali has been spearheading top global and Indian brands as President & CEO for over two decades. For the last 10 years, he is the President & Managing Director of Volvo Group in India, based in Bangalore. Conferred the "Distinguished Alumnus" award by the IIT Roorkee and 'Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya Award 2023', Mr. Kamal has an illustrious career spanning over four decades, predominantly in automotive & engineering industry. Starting his career with EICHER Group in 1981, Kamal has worked with well-known Indian brands and established multinational corporations in India. He has accumulated precious cross-functional knowledge, is respected for his strong values’ based leadership and professionalism with strong work ethos. In December 2019, Mr. Kamal was Knighted and awarded one of Sweden’s highest honours in the Royal Order of the “Polar Star: Commander” by Their Majesties, the King and Queen of Sweden for his untiring support to the Swedish commerce & industry in India. He is also the recipient of the prestigious “2019 Machinist Lifetime Achievement Award” by the Times of India Group. Mr. Kamal is also the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Southern Region and an Independent Director on the Board of Antrx Corporation Limited.
