Ms. Archana Prasad has been actively engaged with technology enabled participatory art practices for over two decades. She is a serial entrepreneur building startups and partnering with reputed institutions like the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, the British Council, the Goethe Institute, Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka and the Gates Foundation amongst others.
As Founder & CCO of Gooey.AI she works deeply in Generative AI, looking to ensure that it becomes a valuable platform for social impact and cultural industries.
As Founder & Former COO of Dara.network, she fosters creative cross-border collaborations and helps change-makers and institutions build social capital via a mobile app platform and real-world networking gatherings.
She curates techart and drives public awareness of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals through BeFantastic, a techart and society platform and festival founded by her. She was Curator for the 2023 festival - FutureFantastic.in that focused on developing and showcasing AI Art on Climate Change.
Ms. Archana is the Founder of Jaaga, that built collaborative communities through public tech-arts programming and co-working support in Bangalore, India. Prior to that she worked in Design Research and Prototyping at Microsoft Research India.
She is a Clore Fellow, a Chevening Fellow, a CSCLeader and an Art Think South Asia Fellow.
